Fay-West Veterans Banner Program
Our organization created this Veterans Banner Program to ensure that every veteran in our region has the opportunity to be honored, no matter where they live. While many municipalities offer their own banner programs, we know that countless veterans live in small towns and rural communities throughout Fayette and Westmoreland Counties that don’t have a program of their own.
That’s why we proudly display our banners in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. By doing so, we provide a meaningful way for families to recognize their loved one’s service and ensure that the sacrifices of our local heroes are seen and appreciated by the entire community.
Our mission is simple: if a veteran has served, or is still serving, they deserve to be honored - and we’re here to make that possible
BANNERS APPLICATIONS FOR 2026 ARE NOW CLOSED. WE WILL BEGIN ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2027 IN SEPTEMBER OF 2026.
BANNER ORDERS WILL CONTINUE AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER OF 2026 (Virtual banners can be requested year-round.)

The FayWest Veterans Banner Program is dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans through a visible tribute in the community.
Our mission is to display commemorative banners throughout the community and also create a virtual display of banners and biographies on our website raising awareness and fostering a sense of pride and appreciation for their service.
GOALS:
Establish a strong foundation and increase community participation.
Expand the program to include neighboring communities.
Secure long-term sponsorships and partnerships to further expansion and ensure financial sustainability.
STRATEGIES:
Leveraging social media and local media outlets to promote the program.
Partner with local veteran's organizations and community groups for outreach.
Recruit volunteers and establish a system to help maintain the program and plan for future expansions and enhancements.
The FayWest Veterans Banner Program is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service . Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by the law.
